The Coordinating Assembly of Non-Governmental Organisations (CANGO) is a national umbrella body that serves as the coordinating mechanism for non-governmental organisations in Eswatini. Established in 1983, CANGO operates from Mbabane and works to strengthen the capacity of its member organisations while facilitating dialogue between civil society, government, and development partners. The organisation provides advocacy platforms, networking opportunities, and technical support to NGOs across Eswatini, focusing on development sectors including health, education, governance, and economic empowerment. CANGO plays a pivotal role in representing the collective voice of Eswatini’s civil society sector in national and regional forums.
