SWAGAA, the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse, is a non-governmental organisation based in Manzini, Eswatini, dedicated to combating gender-based violence and abuse. Founded in the early 1990s, it provides counselling and psychosocial support to survivors of abuse, including children and women affected by sexual violence. The organisation operates programmes across the country covering prevention education, legal support, and community awareness campaigns. SWAGAA also runs initiatives such as girls’ empowerment clubs in schools and works with traditional leaders to address harmful cultural practices. It collaborates with government bodies, UN agencies, and local partners to strengthen child protection and access to justice in Eswatini.
