Job Summary and Responsibilities: To lead and oversee the organisation’s compliance, risk management, and internal audit functions, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards issued by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority and other relevant regulatory bodies as well as to promote a strong culture of ethical conduct, assess the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk manage- ment processes, and safeguard the SACCO’s financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Compliance, AML, or Risk Management or auditing articles are an advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in compliance, risk, auditing or regulatory roles.
- Proficiency in:
- FSRA Act, 2010 (MAIN LAW)
- Co-operative Societies Act, 2003
- FSRA Guidelines
- Consumer Credit Act, 2016
- Anti-money laundering laws (2011)
- And Other Supporting Laws and regulations
