Key Responsibilities
- Inspect trucks and trailers using the vehicle checklist, including checking oil and water levels.
- Record and report any vehicle damage or faults identified during inspections.
- Check crew lists and truck/load numbers.
- Check the quantity of goods for delivery and plan the sequence in which products are packed.
- Complete required vehicle and delivery log sheets.
- Count stock daily using handheld devices.
- Adhere to all required PPE standards.
- Check customer storerooms to ensure adequate space for deliveries.
- Instruct the crew on the correct sequence for offloading products.
- Supervise the offloading process at customer premises.
- Report customer complaints, challenges and other difficulties to the Supervisor.
