Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language/Literature to high achieving students, aged 12-20, from across the world
- Ability and willingness to teach across the three Phases of the school: Lower Forms, IGCSE and IBDP
- Work with colleagues in the department to plan units and lesson, and to continually improve and align pedagogical approaches
- Timeously generate and submit mid cycle indicators, report comments and grades; and utilise platforms in the school to share feedback with students, parents and other stakeholders on student performance
- Contribute to student growth outside the classroom by supervising a community service activity, club and/or an extra-curricular activity
- Serve as tutor to 12 students
- Perform residential duties
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at the College
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in English Literature or equivalent
- A postgraduate degree would be an added advantage
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at IB Diploma or A’ Level
