We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Operator to play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of the Bank’s technology network and infrastructure. Under the line Management of the Manager Infrastructure, the role reports to the Network Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
- Provides first line of work to bank-wide support for all ICT services and equipment.
- Installs and configures computer equipment and provides support for email, internet, anti-virus and 3rd-party systems.
- Supports all banking systems currently under the infrastructure department, including management of the telephone database (Man3000).
- Provides security and antivirus support in a distributed environment (firewall, intrusion detection systems and penetration tests).
- Maintains up-to-date hardware and software inventories.
- Contributes to developing and implementing security monitoring and violation reporting to identify any attempt to access unauthorised materials.
- Supports security awareness training for all employees to ensure consistently high levels of compliance with enterprise security policies.
- Participates in technical evaluations of enterprise security access control and surveillance systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent + MCSE
- At least 2 years in the IT environment
- IT Security and help desk support
