Key Responsibilities
- Initiate strategies and projects in ICT that will support the achievement of organizational mission, core values and business objectives.
- Identify and manage relations with all key stakeholders for the IT and IS processes.
- Ensure adequate ICT policies and procedures are in place and implement approved ICT policy changes.
- Manage the acquisition and optimal provision of Information technology systems to support the business.
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the internal and external customers.
- Ensure adequate resources are allocated to support projects and manage the IT CAPEX & OPEX budgets.
- Plan, review and manage systems and information security, disaster preparedness and coordinate business continuity activities for ICT Systems.
- Continuously carry out IS and ICT research and developments, and advise management on trends and options.
- Identify, interpret, and evaluate systems and network requirements.
- Support remote control users via software and telephone.
- Assist in monitoring network performance, security and IT infrastructure.
- Carry out any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Computing or an equivalent.
- IT Industry Certifications, with specific bias to Infrastructure and planning and administration. e.g. CCNA ,CCNP, Network+, MCP (Networking options), etc.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Computing or an equivalent.
- Five (5) years’ experience in ICT systems and network administration, maintenance, development or support.
- Three (3) years’ experience in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with telecommunications standards and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
