Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, budgets, and trade plans to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Coach Field Marketers and Sales Representatives to drive execution excellence, shelf health, distribution growth, and minimise returns and damages.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships, ensuring customer requirements, complaints, and supplier expectations are effectively managed.
  • Drive market growth by increasing numeric distribution, expanding product range listings, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring successful NPD implementation.
  • Manage sales performance through pipeline tracking, forecasting, reporting, pricing management, and monthly business reviews with customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure effective in-store execution, including promotional planning, stock availability, POS and asset management, and proactive management of competitor activity and obsolete stock.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Sales or equivalent; and 3 years’ experience in a sales role in an FMCG environment with proven track record of success in sales.
  • Or Grade 12 and at least 5 years’ experience in a sales role in an FMCG environment with proven track record of success in sales.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Must have smart phone

  • Proficient in use of MS Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
