GRADUATE TRAINEE | Food Production & Meat Processing
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented graduate trainee to support the foundational research for our food and meat processing business. This role involves conducting thorough market and technical research, visiting sites, analyzing industry practices, and evaluating the viability of various processing models. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on food and meat processing techniques, equipment, and safety standards
- Analyse supply chain logistics, sourcing of raw materials, and production workflows
- Visit farms, abattoirs, processing plants, and retail outlets to gather firsthand insights
- Study regulatory frameworks, health codes, and environmental compliance requirements
- Benchmark successful meat processing companies and document best practices
- Evaluate business models (e.g., slaughter-to-packaging, value-added meat products, refrigeration, storage and distribution facilities)
- Prepare feasibility studies, SWOT analyses, and market entry strategies
