Key Responsibilities
- Provision of timely and sound legal advisory services to Management and Board
- Draft review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents
- Manage litigation and liaise with external legal counsel where necessary
- Risk Management – identify, assess, advise and monitor risk exposure and mitigation strategies
- Compliance Management- conduct compliance audits and report findings, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and policies.
- Serve as Secretary to the Board and Board Committees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) From a recognized institution
- Admission as an attorney
- minimum 5 years’ experience in legal roles
- AML/CFT
- Corporate Governance: Risk Management: Compliance: will be an added advantage
