Key Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical services within the hospital
- Ensure safe and effective medication management and compliance with pharmacy legislation
- Maintain accurate pharmacy stock and patient records
- Monitor and reduce medication errors and hospital-acquired infections
- Attend to patient complaints and provide specialised care for inpatients and outpatients
- Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and drug therapeutic programmes
- Assist in the development and review of policies, guidelines, and SOPs
- Prepare reports and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Registration with the Eswatini Medical and Dental Council
- 5-years experience in the similar field
- Knowledge of various drug classes, indications and therapeutic uses to provide evidence-based recommendations for patient treatment plans.
