  • Lead and direct the retail, personal, and private banking strategy aligned with the bank’s overall corporate and financial strategy.
  • Drive sustainable growth and profitability, focusing on the Retail Banking division with deposit drive and fee-based income.
  • Develop and implement customer value propositions to drive acquisition, retention, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and drive sales and lending productivity for all retail products, services, and delivery channels.
  • Grow loan portfolio, deposit portfolio, income, customer base, and ensure cost containment and lean practices.
  • Strategic growth planning, pricing, and balance sheet optimization for the retail segment in collaboration with the finance team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or relevant field of study.
  • Masters in Business Administration, Banking Business Leadership or relevant field of study.
  • A minimum of 10 – 15 years of significant consumer sales and service experience within the banking/financial services sector, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge and exposure in developing and executing value propositions across the customer value chain that work for customers and reap rewarding working examples, with specific experience in the Eswatini market.
  • Proven track record in high performance in organizations of comparable size and complexity.
  • Understanding of digital, open banking, and payment integration into customer segments.
