Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, coordinating shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction processes to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the organisation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal files, contracts, leave records, disciplinary records, and performance documentation.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HR policies, procedures, and staff regulations to ensure compliance and compliance.
- Coordinate performance management processes, including appraisal schedules, tracking submissions, and filling completed evaluations.
- Support payroll input processes by verifying attendance, leave records, and shift changes for accurate payroll processing.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, leave, and handling complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Support employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary handling, disputes resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Coordinate staff training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs, arranging, and monitoring training sessions.
- Provide HR support in procurement of services, including induction of service providers and contract management.
- Prepare HR-related reports as required, including headcount, leave, and compliance reports.
- Assist in general administrative duties, such as meeting logistics, correspondence, managing office supplies and front desk duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Human Resource and/or Administrative role
- Proven experience in handling HR functions such as recruitment, employee records, and performance management
- Experience in office administration and front desk management will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of local employment-related laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience working in an NGO or donor-funded environment is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and report-writing skills
